Learn to Play Hockey

For students who can skate and have passed a Learn to Skate program (or permission of the instructor) and are ready to refine their skills to learn to play hockey.

Learn to Play Hockey – Unique Selectors

Ages 4–9

Designed to be fun while teaching hockey basics and puck handling skills necessary for a positive hockey playing experience.

Jersey Included

All new participants receive a jersey and must wear their jersey to class.

45‑Minute Classes

Meet one time per week with additional skating opportunities.

Why Hockey?

Brian Seery

Director of Player Development, Cyclones Hockey Club & Director, Bruins Hockey Club

Brian brings more than 25 years of coaching experience at the AAA and AA youth hockey levels, developing players and building championship-caliber teams. Throughout his coaching career, Brian has earned a reputation for his commitment to player development, strong leadership, and creating a competitive environment that helps athletes reach their full potential.

Brian played junior hockey for The Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League (USHL). He is dedicated to developing players' skills, hockey IQ, character, and confidence — preparing athletes for success at the next level both on and off the ice.
